How can I add an expiration date to a Flipbook?
How can I add an expiration date to a Flipbook?

Ensure your Flipbooks are published at a specific timeframe with Publication Period!

Updated over a week ago

All Flipbooks are available via a public URL, which means anybody can access and view your content. Sometimes, you might want to create Flipbooks that have a specific publication, and expiration date. This makes sure that they can only be accessed between these two dates.

This can be done by setting up a publication period. Here's how to do it:

Setting up a publication period

  1. Navigate to your Flipbook.

  2. Click on the Flipbook's Settings section.

  3. From the General pane, select Publication Period from the left-hand menu.

  4. Click Enable publication period.

Once you've enabled the publication period, you can also specify:

  • Published from: Start date and time

  • Published until: End date and time

NB: The date and time settings, will correspond to the region you have specified on the flipbook or folder due to inherited settings.

Checking whether your Flipbook has a set publication period

In the Overview section for your Flipbook, if your Flipbook has a set publication period, you will be able to see this in the Info pane.

Who can view your flipbook?

Any Flipbook with a publication period will be only accessible to the public on the set dates and accessible by you at any time inside the admin panel.

iPaper also offers the possibility of presenting changing content on a static URL, which makes accessing your latest content a breeze. This is done via scheduling. See how via the link below.
