Update your Enrichment Automation daily with the Auto-Update feature in iPaper

Updated over 8 months ago

Does your business change its stock levels or prices daily? If so, this means keeping your Flipbook update as well, to maintain consistency between your digital catalog and your online store.

However, having to manually log in and update your Enrichment Automation configuration daily sounds like time that could be spent more wisely on growing your business. Luckily, iPaper’s auto-update feature automates the update process for you!

📖 This guide explains:

How does auto-update work?

Auto-update is a feature available on any account with Enrichment Automation. It works by automatically updating the Flipbook with the last used Enrichment Automation configuration, once daily between 05:00-06:00 CET.

This means that if your Flipbook prices are provided to your Enrichment Automation via a dynamic data source, for example a feed, that is drawing live data directly from your product information database (PIM) or from your webshop. Product prices will be automatically updated in your Flipbook when auto-update runs.

How to enable auto-update on your Flipbook

  1. In iPaper, right-click on your Flipbook from the Flipbook overview pane.

  2. Select Enable auto update from the drop-down menu.

  3. A green message, like the one below, will confirm your auto update in the top, right-hand corner.

That’s it! Your Flipbook will now automatically update, once a day. You can also get an overview of any and all of your Flipbooks when auto update enabled from the Flipbook overview pane. If auto update is enabled, you’ll see a black Auto updating tag.
