Want to gate your content with a newsletter signup? Gated content!

Updated over 7 months ago

Need to give your users information when a Flipbook is loaded, or maybe sign up for your newsletter? You can have a form open automatically when a Flipbook is loaded. We call this Gated content.

🔰 Before we get started, Gated content requires that the Forms module is enabled on your account. To learn how to enable the module, and create a Form, see our guide:

📖 This guide explains:

How to enable Gated content on a Flipbook

Once you have created a Form you can enable Gated content on a Flipbook like this:

  1. Right-click on the Flipbook you are working on, from the Flipbook overview.

  2. From the drop-down menu, select Edit settings.

  3. Select the Modules tab.

  4. From the vertical, left-hand menu, select Gated content.

  5. Toggle on Gated content.

Selecting your Form, and which page in your Flipbook it should show on

Once toggled on, you can select which of your Forms you want to gate your content with:

Click on Select form to open a list of your existing Forms. Alternatively, you can create a new one by clicking Create.

You can also choose whether your Form should be dismissible, or not, as well as which page in your Flipbook to show your form on. By default, this will be page 1, meaning the Form will show when your Flipbook loads.

⚠️ Always remember to Save changes once you're happy with your new Gated content!
