When are we removing the print function?
The Print Flipbook function will be removed from all Flipbook user interfaces on MARCH 1, 2024.
Why remove print?
The primary reason for this decision is that the function to download the PDF and open the Print function is no longer being respected by the majority of browsers. This often results in broken functionality for Flipbook visitors, resulting in a poor user experience.
Additionally, we’ve crunched the numbers to see just how frequently the Print functionality is used. We discovered that over the almost 1 billion Flipbook sessions we served through 2023, visitors only clicked 'Print' 9276 times, meaning it was used in only 0.00092% of sessions.
What about my visitors who still want to print?
