PDF Tagging: Images

Tag your PDF to include images, pop-up images and galleries

Updated over a week ago

With PDF tagging, we can include images into your flipbook directly from your PDF.
You can use this workflow to enrich your flipbook without having to do any manual work.

Inline Images

To add inline images, we will tag the PDF with hyperlinks. If you're in doubt about how to add hyperlinks, check the articles below.

  • Create a hyperlink in the desired spot via Acrobat Reader, Acrobat Pro or InDesign.

  • The hyperlink should have the same aspect ratio as your image to avoid unwanted results.

  • The hyperlink should point to a URL where the image is hosted.

  • The image file should end in the file extension (.jpg, .gif, .png...)

Tip: it is a good idea to plan ahead and include placeholders for images you know will be added via Enrichment Automation. This will give you full flexibility in designing a PDF for online use.
