Make you Flipbook come alive!

Updated over a week ago

One of the reasons flipbooks are waaaaay cooler than dusty old PDF files is that you can make them interactive! Links, images, video - you name it. But what good is a link, if people don't know you can click it?

To combat this, it's important to make it clear to your readers, that icons, images etc. are 'click-able'. There's a number of ways to do this, for example you can add animations to them, see more about that here:

Another cool way, is to use GIFs as your icons. Using GIFs as Calls To Action, makes it clear, that this is an interactive element.

So how do you get on your way of adding cool GIFs to your Flipbook? There's a few steps, let's go through them:

  1. Add GIFs to media library. Just left click on Media on the left side, and either Drag n' drop or right click on the folder and select Upload file:

2. Okay we got the GIFs ready, now start by going to the enrichment editor, for the Flipbook you want to edit. Navigate to your Flipbook overview and right-click the Flipbook and chose Open enrichment editor.

3. We're getting there! Now in the enrichment editor go to the site, you want to add GIFs to, and click the Media icon:

Select your GIF, and that's it! Remember to click save.

A way of using this could be to make it clear to visitors, that they can buy the items listed like so:

Remember the GIF doesn't link anywhere, it's just a cool GIF! So remember to add a link to it using the Enrichment editor!
